WE’RE EXCITED TO MEET YOU!
We want you to feel welcome and comfortable during your first visit on Sunday, so we've attempted to answer a few common questions. Here's what you can expect on Sundays.
WHAT KIND OF CHURCH ARE YOU?
We’re a Lutheran church. That means we believe in the Bible as God’s Word, in Jesus as the only true Savior of all the world’s sinners, and in the gracious work of God through baptism and the Lord’s supper.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are off Highway 5 South, one block past College St. Next to the Bob Davis Veteran’s Center.
WHERE SHOULD I GO?
We have two entrances to our church building. One entrance is located on Dryer Street, with a ramp for handicap accessibility. The other entrance is on the parking lot side under the awning. This gives access to our class rooms and fellowship hall. We also have an elevator to the worship area level.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is no dress code at Trinity. You’ll see some people dressed in jeans and a polo, and others will be dressed in their Sunday best. God isn’t that interested in our threads. Come as you are!
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING THE WORSHIP SERVICE?
Our style of worship is semi-formal, also known as liturgical. We provide a service folder to follow as we go along so you needn’t worry about getting lost. Our service is printed out, along with the Bible readings, and projected on a screen at the front of our worship area.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS? WILL THEY ATTEND WORSHIP WITH ME?
Your children are encouraged to stay with you during our services and they need to hear the Word as much as any else. We do provide a nursery room near the worship area for your convenience and there is closed circuit tv in the room so you don’t have to miss any of the service.
